Statkraft is Europe’s largest renewable energy producer and a global company in energy market operations. At Statkraft I am working in a team that is responsible for development of Risk Management platform using Beacon software.

At Statkraft I am:

  • Developing risk management platform.
  • Implementing support for new type of trading instruments.
  • Developing integrations with internal and external data providers.
  • Developing integrations with Profit and Loss (PnL) and Risk modeling services.

Executive Director PyCon LT  May 2018 – Present

PyCon Lithuania is the largest Python and Data conference in Baltics. I became organizer of the event by 2017. Since then, with a small and changing team we created an
event that is known in the region. My responsibilities include: setting conference goals, prioritizing tasks, managing volunteers, developing conference website https://pycon.lt, selecting conference talks, etc. For the software part of the experience, I work with the following stack: reactjs, nextjs, tailwindjs, vercel.

Market Trend Valuation Center is a startup company that creates real estate market forecasts and assessments of individual properties based by taking into account economical, demographic and other factors. I act as CTO at the company, and am responsible for all things related to software engineering. I took experimental scripts and transformed them into a production system that contains ETL pipeline, data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, deployment and serving. As I part of my responsibility I was making sure that my colleagues write quality code and make good software decisions.
